Leanne Macdonald-Loyd, Owner

                    Born and bred in Pasadena, Leanne trained to a high standard in quality animal care, hygiene, grooming and CPR and has worked with key businesses in the Los Angeles area.  Leanne is passionate about excellent pet care and rescue, as she’s been caring for animals her whole life.  Leanne began volunteering at the North Central Animal Shelter where she’s taken more than her fair share of the residents home!  Leanne resides nearby, busying herself with her little Scruffamuff named Pierre, Shih Tzu Mozarella "Ella", two kitties Julius and Matilda, as well as her 1 year old and 4 year old humans! 
Leanne has total respect for Temple Grandin’s take on the animal world and admires her work to reduce stress, panic, and anxiety in livestock and pets.  It is with this approach that Leanne handles the pets in her care as well, incorporating practices in pet grooming that serve to keep pets calm and comfortable.  Her dream was to create a friendly and professional local hub for animal lovers to connect, share and learn in Down Town Pasadena. 

Elizabeth Anderson, Salon Manager

              Liz Anderson is the grounding force to R&G Pet Spa.  Her excellent business acumen, her customer service dexterity, as well as her unparalleled knowledge of dog health, breeds, behavior, and skin & coat needs make Liz an exceptional fit for the specialized work we do with the pets of Pasadena.  Liz grew up in the San Gabriel Valley, and has worked in the pet industry for over 20 years.  She was raised with a squad of American Cocker Spaniels, in addition to various other breeds of dogs and species of house pets!  Liz is a true animal lover.  She resides locally with her family including three children from 2 years to 13 years old, as well as their two cats, Jasmine and Zeke, plus their Hound dog mutt Hank and their very own San Gabriel Valley Sasquatch Dog Julie!  Liz hails as the luminary for the regional San Gabriel Valley Sasquatch Dog Society.
